Party Line - New Conference Call Service

One of the things you'll hear me say over and over is that identifying and using the right tools is crucial to the success of your business.  I'm always trying out new applications in the hopes that it will help me further streamline my processes.

A few days ago, I was asked to participate in a conference call.  The host used an application that I previously hadn’t heard of:  Party Line.  I asked for the dial-in details, and was told not to worry; Party Line would call me.  If you’re like me, you sometimes get wrapped up in your work and forget to dial in to conference calls at the appointed time.  With Party Line, you don’t have to worry about forgetting.  At the time the host starts the call, the phone numbers of up to five participants are entered.  Party Line calls each individual to invite them into the call.  Couldn’t be simpler.

Party Line is Facebook application.  It even allows free international calls to a number of European countries for up to 15 minutes.  It’s ad supported, but there is no charge for the service itself.

You can initiate Party Line calls from Facebook, or via your cell phone by dialing 877 4 BUZZ ME.  The service works the same with either mode of access.

If you’re like me, you’ll find that Party Line will help you gather your conference call participants with a few clicks of the mouse, or ensure that you join your colleague’s calls on time.  It’s a cool tool that you’ll want to check out.

So that is my cool tool find…

David, this is a great recommendation! I've been on the lookout for a teleconferencing service that's reliable, has good noise reduction, and offers ease of use, so I'll be trying them out.

Appreciate the heads up about them.
