Yes David,

Short but thought provoking.

One more for the list (maybe No10):-

Getting a site ranked for specific narrow Keywords
and then passing page rank up to the top/main pages.

Hope you’re keeping well. Posting on Thanksgiving too!

@Craig – I am well. Good idea. A blog is the ideal SEO platform for ranking for midtail and longtail phrases.

10. Textual version of a presentation/speech you gave that was a hit. That is what I am doing now at http://stopdoingnothing.com . I gave the speech first, and now I am copying it and pasting it as several blog posts. So far traffic is uppity up.

@Patrick – Great idea. Old content in new media is perceived as new content.

I believe that anyone who has been blogging for more than a year has developed the basic blogging expertise. Many are now, going beyond and looking closely at the message.
It is so much like being a professional speaker. You learn how to deliver and combined with a message you make an impact.
Well blogging, in my opinion, is so powerful that it is almost dangerous. It can reach so many people so fast and like speaking, make life changing impact. So, just like speaking, I am convinced that blogging should come with an appreciation and responsibility of the privilage.
In other words, how do you use this power? How does it line up with your own values? What difference are you making?
ok, that’s deep enough for a Sunday night. Thanks for an excellent post

I’ve “recycled” blog posts many times. You’re exactly right. Good content is Good content. Couldn’t say it better.

I think most good speakers will repeat good content for different audiences. Sometimes for the same audience to reinforce an important message.
